The Wilderness Hydro is situated in the picturesque town of Wilderness, in close proximity to George, Sedgefield and Knysna in the heart of the Garden Route.

We operate from the premises of the Wilderness Hotel in the Wilderness village.

Wilderness offers you sandy beaches and meandering trails through indigenous forests, fynbos, lakes, cliffs and numerous attractions ranging from scenic helicopter flights and tandem paragliding for the more adventurous.

We offer package deals in conjunction with the hotel, ranging from one day to one-week accommodation and treatments.

The Wilderness Hydro is open to the public and we can cater for group bookings up to 6 guests at the same time. Conference facilities can be booked in conjunction with Hydro group bookings. 

SPA POLICIES

  • Allow sufficient time for digestion of food before treatments.
  • Consumption of alcohol is strictly forbidden before treatments.
  • Please inform your therapist if you are pregnant.
  • Please inform your therapist of any skin allergies or other medical conditions you may have i.e. high blood pressure
  • Please bring comfortable open shoes and a bathing costume.  
  • Female clients are not permitted to have any water treatments or activities while menstruating for hygienic reasons.  
  • Please remove contact lenses beforehand or before each treatment. 
  • Please shower / bath before treatments.
  • Leave jewelry and  valuables in the lockers provided or at home.
  • All cell phones must be switched off when entering the Hydro premises.
  • We are not liable for damages or injuries or loss of personal possessions.
  • No children under the age of 16 years will be allowed to have treatments unless accompanied by their parents or legal guardian.  
  • Children under the age of 10 years are unfortunately not allowed in the Hydro premises.

Cancellation Policy 

  • For late arrivals, treatment duration will be reduced.  
  • Six hours advance notice is required for cancellations after which 50% of the value of the treatments will be charged.
  • Where a deposit has been paid, the booking will be rescheduled for a later date or a gift voucher will be issued. * All deposits are non-refundable unless cancelled 7 days in advance.

Payment

    • We accept Master & Visa Credit cards and cash.
    • We do not accept cheques. 
    • 50% deposit is required on all treatments in excess of R300 in value. 
    • 50% deposit on all Hydro Packages is required to secure the booking.  
    • All deposits are non-refundable unless cancelled 7 days in advance.  
    • Valid Gift Vouchers must be presented or the full treatment price will be charged.
